Microsoft has added a new ‘Popular Now’ section to its Bing search engine in the UK, a feature designed to let you see daily news trends by glancing at the homepage.
Each day the Bing UK editorial team monitors trends and topics and updates them on the Bing UK homepage. The section is located at the bottom right of the page – you can see today that the Quebec shooting, UK Cabinet reshuffle and Keira Knightley are the hot topics:
When you click one of the ‘Popular Now’ terms, you’re directed to a Bing search results page on that topic:
It’s as simple as that.
